On April 16, 2014, Norgren has launched a new ISIS solenoid valve for commercial vehicles. The solenoid valve was developed by the team of Norgren UK, Germany, China and the United States. Not only can it be used to control critical functions, but it also has higher reliability and lower price than many alternative system costs, providing users with greater engineering advantages and added value.

The new ISIS solenoid valve is designed to control a wide range of standard functions including differential locks, engine brakes and horns, as well as key functions for lift bridges and engine brakes. The reduction in the number of components is one of its highlights. Compared to standard models with 20 components, the ISIS solenoid valve has only 9 components and is packaged in a sealed corrosion protection unit, greatly reducing potential leak paths. At the same time, ISIS solenoid valves are equipped with a trouble-free advancement system that withstands strong vibrations and extreme environmental conditions to ensure safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.

In addition, by reducing the need for pipe, connector and cab penetration, the ISIS solenoid valve is 10% lighter and 30% smaller than a typical chassis valve array system, saving cost and space and helping to achieve engineering advantages. The solenoid valve is suitable for both retrofit and original equipment assembly and is available in 12v or 24v models.
